Application Developer
Social Services Department

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Responsible for developing system applications for service development by making use of social innovation and technology

 Assist in collecting and analysing user requirements, provide necessary technical advice and identify potential risks

 Participate in project life cycle, including project initiation, planning, procurement, implementation, monitoring, risk assessment and management, UAT, closure, etc.

 Perform product or system evaluation, test and provide technical recommendations

 Prepare and maintain operation manuals, user guidelines and other system documents

 Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the Supervisor or management

REQUIREMENTS

 An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army

 Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science or related disciplines

 Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in application development of mobile/VR/AR/robotics applications, preferably in social welfare sector

 Knowledge in development technologies such as HTML5, JSON, Node.js, Objective-C, Swift, and Kotlin

 Keep abreast of the changes in business environment, technology and industry standards

 Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

 Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

 Immediate available is preferable
