Human Resources Manager (Training) [REF: DH(HR)/HRM(T)/NET]
Location: Sheung Wan Roles and responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement the strategic training plans as well as other human resources programmes and initiatives;
  • review human resources policies and procedures governing training and manpower development;
  • design the training structure by job categories and services in alignment with the corporate strategies to cultivate a learning culture for continuous improvement and talent development;
  • administer staff training functions and activities including recommending of training sponsorships and overseeing of staff training information system;
  • explore and coordinate in launching new technologies/digital platforms for facilitating self-learning and enhancing the flexibility of training applications; and
  • supervise subordinates to maintain a stable and productive workforce capable of handling day-to-day business and provide executive support to other functions and tasks/projects as assigned.
The ideal candidate should have/be:
  • a recognized degree or equivalent;
  • Grade D or above in both English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the HKCEE or equivalent;
  • at least 4 years of post-graduated experience preferably in training and development;
  • proficiency in English and Chinese, and preferably in Putonghua;
  • calibre as a good team player with sound interpersonal skills; and
  • ability to work independently with initiative and have a strong sense of responsibility.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.  The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.

Vaccine Pass requirements:

Job applicant (if appointed) will be required to enter or work in specified/other applicable premises under the Vaccine Pass and fulfill the Vaccine Pass requirements in accordance with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Vaccine Pass) Regulation (Cap. 599L) and as stipulated by the Hospital Authority/Education Bureau/Social Welfare Department/other authorities at any point of time during the course of employment.
