Responsibilities
- Manage building services design for new railway projects
- Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines to meet the project objectives and overall design programmes
- Liaise with railway operators, civil, architectural and railway systems designers, government departments and external parties to obtain the required statutory approvals
- Review consultant’s’ and contractors’ submissions to ensure design coordination and constructability of E&M works
- Ensure the designs are completed cost-effectively, timely and in compliance with corporate requirements
Requirement
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in design, construction and management of large-scale multi-disciplinary projects. Previous experience in railway projects and ability to apply lesson learnt throughout design and construction stage in previous projects are advantages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred
Remarks
- Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
