Senior Human Resources Officer 助理人力資源主任, Human Resources Department (Ref: SHRO/HRD/12-22)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the operations comply with relevant Army’s policies and procedures, and ordinances and regulations in Hong Kong
- Manage and execute full spectrum of Human Resources functions, including but not limited to manpower planning, recruitment & selection, compensation and benefits, payroll, training and development, performance management, employee retention and communication, staff orientation, etc.
- Partner with line management on manpower planning, talent acquisition, talent management, communications and retention. Provide coaching and advice on HR matters and ensure legal compliance
- Provide supports in annual budgeting
- Be responsible for developing, reviewing and implementing HR administrative guidelines, procedures and policies
- Assist in conducting market research and survey, benchmarking best practices
- Keep abreast of updated employment and HR related ordinances and regulations
- Manage and maintain the Human Resources Management System
- Holding staff engagement events such as staff parties and other regular functions
- Be responsible for timely processing of annual appraisals of employees
- Prepare various HR reports, proposals and documents
- Review the competitiveness on remuneration package and employee benefits
- Collaborate with department HRs in the development and implementation of strategic human resources plans as and when required
- Managing employees’ compensation claims; review and develop plans to improve occupational safety and health
- Serve in relevant boards and working groups as and when required
- Conduct employee counselling, handle grievance, complaints, and other HR related issues
- Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the superior(s)
REQUIREMENTS
- An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army
- Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years’ solid experience in all-rounded human resources functions and HR project management
- Well-versed in HK Employment Ordinance, Employee Compensation Ordinance, and other HR related regulations is a must. Knowledge of Labour Relations Law in Macau is an added advantage
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing and web applications
- Handle sensitive information in confidential and professional manner
- Good interpersonal and communications skills; strong leadership, coaching, analytical, and problem-solving skills; service-oriented, pro-active and innovative
- Able to work under pressure
** Candidates with less experience will be considered as Human Resources Officer
