Location: Sheung Wan

• Provide psycho-educational assessment and intervention services for students with learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties;
• provide consultation and support services to school regarding write-up and implementation of Individual Education Plan, as well as appropriate educational provision to cater for students’ diverse educational and vocational needs;
• conduct training and experience sharing activities to students and school personnel; and
• perform other relevant duties as required.

• a first degree in Psychology from a local university or equivalent;
• a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology (Professional Practice) from a local university or equivalent;
• a post-graduate Certificate in Education from a local university or equivalent;
• a minimum of 6 years’ relevant post-degree experience of which at least 3 years should be as an Educational Psychologist; and
• proficiency in Chinese and English.

The successful candidate will be appointed on contract terms with a salary currently at $74,515 per month (Tung Wah Master Pay Scale Point 34). Entry salary depends on years of recognized experience. The salary is subject to downward/upward adjustment or may be frozen as determined by Tung Wah and/or as appropriate with reference to the civil service pay review. The fringe benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.
