助理教育服務經理 9 [REF: SHRM(P)1/AESM 9/NET]
Location: Sheung Wan Roles and responsibilities:
  • Act as the key contact person and liaise with schools and the Training and Welfare Section in all matters relating to the staff training and welfare activities/issues;
  • assist in SMC-related matters regarding the annual change of the SMCs and managers’ registration;
  • provide support to relevant sections in preparing Familiarization Visit by New Board of Directors as well as coordinating materials for the board-related courtesy visits to EDB, Beijing, Macau, Ministry of Civil Affairs, etc.;
  • provide support on all publications matters, coordinate with Corporate Communication Division include: Tung Wah News, Photo Album, Corporate Video, Corporate Leaflet & Brochure, Education Division Page of TWGHs website, Education Division Facebook, etc
  • provide support in stock-keeping of Corporate and ED souvenirs and handling IT-related matters;
  • provide secretarial support to the Head of Education Division when necessary; and
  • perform other duties instructed by the HED.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • A recognized degree or equivalent;
  • at least Grade D in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in HKCEE or equivalent;
  • preferably 4 years of post-qualification experience and sound knowledge about office management;
  • preferably experience in procurement, preparing budget as well as organizing ceremonies and event;
  • proficiency in general office skills including general applications of Microsoft Office;
  • proficiency in writing reports and memos in Chinese and English; and
  • preferably basic knowledge in book-keeping.

Compensation & employment terms:

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 3-year contract with a remuneration package which will be commensurate with his/her background and experience.  The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.  Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships.  The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
