To support the Agency’s service development and uphold the quality of research work in the Agency, the incumbent will have to support in execution of research survey projects, building of evidence based practice and corporate services planning in our Planning and Services Development Office at Hong Kong Red Cross.

Key Responsibilities:

• To design and conduct agency-wide research and survey (including but not limited to stakeholder surveys, need assessment and market research making use of both qualitative and quantitative research methods)
• To perform service statistics analysis and write up analysis reports
• To carry out literature review and information research
• To provide research-related advice and support for departments, in particular to uphold the standard of questionnaire and other research instruments
• To conduct training and sharing sessions to enhance staff capacity and awareness in evidence based practice
• To perform other duties as assigned

• A bachelor’s degree in Social Science / Statistics, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years’ working experience in research, preferably in NGO sector
• Solid skills in social research design, conducting interviews, data analysis (both qualitative and quantitative) and report writing
• Professional in using data analysis software, including SPSS
• Knowledge of program logic / logical framework is an advantage
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Willing to work as a team and able to manage projects independently
