Assistant Project Manager, Property Department (Ref: APM/PD/08-24)
Highlight
- Responsible for all types of insurance and tendering for insurance contract renewal; - Degree in Business Administration, Insurance or related disciplines; or Diploma with 2 year’s relevant experience; experience in handling general insurance and claims is an advantage
Responsibilities
- In-charge of project development, maintenance and renovation works for premises under the Army
- Provide professional advice on renovations of existing facilities and construction of new facilities, conduct feasibility study and evaluation to identify possible procurement strategies and solutions
- Manage preparation of tender documents and coordinate with the works from initial stage to completion
- Supervise the contractors and site workers to ensure the progress of site works
- Provide technical support and the overall administration of repair and maintenance works by preparing and reviewing the project progress, including scope and demarcation of works, schedule management, risk identification and mitigation
- Liaise with the Government Departments to comply with the statutory requirements and standards
- Perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the supervisor or management

Requirements
- An understanding of the Christian faith, values and ethos of The Salvation Army - Bachelor Degree in Architectural Studies, Building Surveying or related disciplines
- Possess membership in Architect, Building Surveying or related disciplines is an advantage
- Minimum 6 years’ working experience in project management, with relevant experience in Education or Social Service sector is preferable
- Possess adequate knowledge of relevant regulations and submission procedures
- Excellent communication, negotiation, supervisory and interpersonal skills
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good command of AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Work overtime as and when required
